Chianti is perhaps Ruffino’s most historically important wine. The first of the reds produced by Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino, the one that made the company known not only nationally, managing to find space in the then small US market. A red that over time has become an ambassador of Italian good taste, the flag of a tradition that has lasted for over a century.
Predominantly fruity and floral aromatics with hints of spice and hazlenut. On the palate soft with a medium body and nice balance, displaying pleasantly fruity characteristics.
