Agricola Punica is a joint venture in Sardinia between a local cooperative winery, Cantina Sociale di Santadi, and Sebastiano Rosa, managing director of Tuscan estate Tenuta San Guido, the producer of Sassicaia. Montessu is fall under the appellation I.G.T. Isola Dei Nuraghi, Carignano exceptionally blended with some French varietals.

The wine has notes of cherry, raspberry and ripe fruit, myrtle and juniper. In mouth, the wine has full-bodied black fruit flavours, with soft, saline notes, with elegant traces of rosemary and black pepper, enhancing a long, silky finish.
