The Glenrothes distillery, just bought by the Edrington group, leaves the old vintage and reserves that have characterized its production since 1879 and rationalizes the range through 4 long aging, plus a Whiskey Maker’s Cut with a not-specified age.The WMC bottling was matured only in first fill sherry seasoned oak casks, bottled at natural colour at a strength selected by their Master Whisky Maker. Creamy vanilla, orange peel and nutmeg character.
